Being outside of the settlement boundary CHH worked closely with the planning authority to formulate an acceptable form of development. The council did not have provision for extra care C2 retirement housing therefore the proposal was to create a highly desirable community of 18 retirement bungalows along with a community clubhouse and gardens.
